The Shades 4 U Foundation is a non-profit organization that specializes in the fight against Child Sexual Abuse (CSA).  Our mission statement is to 'instill hope and provide support to the victims and survivors of Child Sexual Abuse.'

Our three mission objectives are: 

   -1-   To raise awareness about Child Sexual Abuse (CSA) through programs in communities

     -2-   To help prevent CSA through programs and training in communities

     -3-   To assist victims & survivors of CSA through recovery & treatment plans in communities

We are developed from the ground up, using trainings and ceritifications from The National Child Traumatic Stress Network (NCTSN), The American Academy of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry (AACAP), Darkness 2 Light, and more.  With the following research, we able to provide detailed and thorough awareness presentations and prevention training to help fight CSA.  We are also able to complete clinical assessments, in-takes and devise treatment and recovery plans for victims of CSA.

 

Our charity is supported through various fundraisers, programs, donations, grants and other means.  We are awaiting our 501(c)(3) tax exempt status, as we are headquartered in Newburgh, Indiana.  As of August 1st, 2012 and official launched Monday, October 1st, 2012, we have dilingently been working on developing Awareness & Prevention programs, tutorials, PSA', among other vehicles.
